Cambodia unlikely to clear landmines by 2020 deadline

Landmines and unexploded ammunition continue to kill and maim Cambodians many years after they were used for military purposes.

The Cambodian Government has set a 2020 deadline to finally declare the country landmine-free.

However, experts working in Cambodia say that’s a very ambitious target and it’s likely to take much longer.
