Ukraine’s president has issued a fresh call for tough sanctions on Russia and more air defences.

It comes after Russia pounded Ukraine with hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles over the weekend, killing at least six people… The strikes damaging civilian infrastructure in the northeast and also targeting cities in the country’s west, including Lviv near Poland and Chernivtsi, which is near Romania.
